Well, this is the message of God’s kingdom! Through sin, the devil literally held us captive in spiritual darkness with no hope for the future. We were completely at the mercy of his manipulation of circumstances, sickness, lack, fear, and every other mental and physical torment. Then, praise God, Jesus came into our world! He took every evil curse and sentence the devil had over us, and placed it upon Himself, as the ultimate sacrifice, in our place! He paid the ransom for our complete freedom with His Own blood! Then He rose again, from the dead, and was given the highest place of power and authority over all principalities and power! What’s more, He has taken everyone who believes in Him and accepts His Lordship over their lives, and placed us right with Him, in that place of rule and authority! This means we get to live in victory over the devil and do exploits for God’s kingdom forever! We can live free, healed, and prosperous – with a powerful, glorious purpose!
