Our Covenant God

Today’s theme verse reveals how God exempted and distinguished Noah and his family from the rest of the world before the flood. Noah’s covenant with God kept him and his family safe from the calamity that struck the earth. According to Hebrews 8:6, because of the finished work of the cross, we have an even better covenant with better promises. The Bible says God is faithful and can be trusted, He keeps covenant for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments. The devil can do anything he wants, but not to you! That is how the exemption works. It’s enforced when you diligently listen to and obey the Word of God, and refuse to be moved by negative rumours or circumstances, because of your steadfast trust in Him.  We have been given the Word of God, His Spirit that’s alive inside us, and the Name of Jesus that is above every other name, and to which every knee must bow.  We have been given the power and authority to bind and loose and kick the devil out of our lives, while we release the atmosphere of heaven and the favour of God everywhere we go.  This is all part of our covenant with the God. Be consistent and faithful in putting Him and His ways first in your life, and you will see how His arm is never too short to move mightily on your behalf.  He is your Covenant keeping God!
