Evidence of the Kingdom

Jesus is supreme. As we boldly declare His Lordship, something must rise up on the inside of us. We don’t serve a weak, war-weary God; we serve a God who is on the throne and holds all power and authority! As the Apostle Paul was writing to the Colossians, he spoke so powerfully on the very position and person of Jesus. The word “supreme” means to have the position of authority or highest rank. This is who Jesus is and this is also the position He ought to hold in our lives, as children of God. If He is not the priority of our lives, we are allowing the things of this world to replace the position that only He should hold.  Every decision we make must be weighed through the scale of our devotion to Him. The way we act and speak, raise our families and build our marriages all reflect the evidence of His kingdom we’ve allowed to dominate in our lives.  Holding onto the things of this world will only lead to frustration and disappointment, but giving Jesus first place always leads to victory, exceptional joy, and satisfaction in all we do. The fruit will speak for itself, and it will be marvellous! As you put God first, expect to see evidence of the goodness of God in your life, in Jesus Name!
