Don’t Be Ignorant

Lack of knowledge of God’s Word and His perfect will for our lives is a major obstacle, keeping people from walking in the supernatural blessing of God. If we don’t know if it’s God’s will for us to be healed in our physical bodies, whole in our emotions, and free from worry at all times – we will never have the confidence or faith needed to wholeheartedly believe for these things.

Scripture makes it very clear that we are to constantly educate ourselves in the promises and ways of God. Being ignorant of who we are and what we have in Christ Jesus will hold us back from living in victory over sin, sickness, fear and lack. The Word mentions two types of ignorant people: those who, for whatever reason, never had access to knowing the truth; and those who had countless opportunities to learn, yet chose to reject it. Both types of ignorance are detrimental, but the latter is worse.

When we have the opportunity to choose life but refuse to recognise and seize it, we only have ourselves to blame. Now, while you have the luxury to fill yourself with the wisdom of God’s Word – do it with determined purpose – it will prove to be your very life source.
