Something we clearly notice in scripture is how our enemy, the devil, is infuriated when our lives are being productive and fruitful! God’s word says when we submit ourselves to Him, and choose to make His principles our priority, we can laugh at the enemy’s threats against us. Bringing our tithe before the Lord is a Godly principle that was established before the law. Since it’s an integral part of our covenant relationship with God, we can be confident our keeping with it will cause His Word to work for us, proving it’s true and completely dependable. Understand God promises to rebuke the devourer for our sake when we tithe. So have faith in God’s promise of abundance and protection concerning the fruit of your work as you apply this principle. Because you are tither, you can stand up against the threat of the enemy, resist him and his plans of destruction – and He will flee from you!
