In this scripture, Paul boldly declares we have access to every resource, both natural and eternal, to see God’s perfect will established in our lives. And in verse 23 he explains why: we belong to Christ and He belongs to God. It’s as simple as that!
Romans 11:36 says all things originate with and come from God; and all things live through Him, centre in and end in Him. He is the source and dispenser of all things. Then in Matthew 11:27, Jesus says all things have been entrusted and delivered to Him by the Father; and when we truly know the Father, through Jesus, we can have access to all those things too. Hallelujah! We are joint-heirs with Christ!
Whatever is permitted in heaven is ours now. There is nothing too good for us to enjoy, nor too far from our reach to receive. Today: determine to know God more and fall deeply in love with His ways, and watch how all things pertaining to life and godliness become yours to enjoy!
