Be a Distributor!

There is plenty of evidence supporting the fact that Paul was a wealthy man in his time. However, he clearly understood the pitfalls wealth can bring the moment it encroaches in the territory of our hearts. Paul never excluded rich people from the Church, nor did he teach they couldn’t be used in the kingdom because they were rich. He simply warned them to keep their hearts pure and fixed on Christ, and to recognise God as the source of their wealth. That is why they should never be high-minded and arrogant, but rather humble, grateful and generous of spirit. He explained they would be held responsible for being good stewards of what God had blessed them with. In 1 Timothy 6:17-18 he reminded them to keep their trust firmly in the living God, and not their wealth, and to be rich in good works, ready to distribute and willing to communicate what God had allowed them to be carriers of.  As God brings increase into your life, never lose sight of these truths, you are blessed to be a blessing and a distributor of His goodness!
