Being a good steward of what God has entrusted to each one of us is certainly not limited to material things. What is in your heart? What takes up space in your head? Most of us know the scriptures stating that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he; or, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The possessions we own, the books we read, the movies we watch, the clothes we wear, the music we listen to, the company we keep – people, stuff and activities all fill our 24-hour day – and can clutter the part of our lives we are meant to occupy with things relating to the spirit. No matter how full or empty our lives become, we will never be content unless they are filled with the things of the Spirit. Faith is the spiritual commodity that brings what is in the realm of the spirit, into our natural reality. Faith doesn’t exist in our natural minds, it is of the spirit, and exists in our spirits. So, when we renew our natural minds to God’s Word, by making His thoughts our own, our minds come into agreement with 2 things: the Word we read, and the faith that’s in our spirits. In other words, faith is drawn up from our spirit-man, and as we release it on our words – those words of faith activate the supernatural power of God that is present, to flow and meet every need. Now this can’t happen while our minds are so caught up with the things of this world and dominated by the issues or cares of life. As we de-clutter our lives from the unnecessary distractions of the world, our spiritual senses become heightened and we use our time and energy catering to the things of the spirit, instead of the flesh. The results are nothing less than supernatural! Focus on being the reciprocal of God’s power as you de-clutter your life and allow your spirit to dominate – causing you to be content in every situation.
