No matter what we face in this life, when we are rooted in Jesus, we will always flourish! Taking personal responsibility to nurture a quality relationship with the Lord must be our primary goal.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 says that when we believe, trust in, and rely on the Lord, and make Him our hope and confidence, we will certainly flourish! That’s because Jesus is the fountain of life, and His Holy Spirit is rivers of living water! When we take the time to drink deeply of the Lord in His Presence and His Word – we become like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river. We won’t be bothered or worried when the pressures of life come. Instead, our spirits will be full of strength, and our minds will be fixed on His faithfulness and goodness towards us.
Psalms 92:15 says that if we are consistently faithful to abide in Jesus, we become living memorials to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises! Our lives will demonstrate His goodness and faithfulness to us. Invest in your personal relationship with the Lord today and see yourself flourish – just as you were created to do!
