Develop Your Trust

Did you know that long before your need appeared, God’s answer for it was already supplied. Since we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us – we have access to supernatural insight, wisdom, and power to meet every need – regardless of how impossible it seems in the natural. We belong to a God who is all knowing. Revelation 13:8 says Jesus is the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. That means He has always been in front of everything – never behind! In Matthew 11:27, Jesus gives us this assurance: “All things have been entrusted and delivered to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son deliberately wills to make Him known.”  Do you see how He connects receiving “all things” with knowing God? When we truly know Him, we are able to truly trust Him and His Word. Throughout scripture we meet people who chose to invest time in knowing God and His character before they achieved the impossible through Him. David’s confidence to fearlessly answer the ferocious Goliath and bring him down in front of an army of terrified warriors – came from him intimately knowing His covenant God. David fully trusted God’s character and he knew His ways, from firsthand experience.  When we invest in taking the time to truly know God through His Holy Spirit and His Word, we soon discover that He can be trusted to always keep us in a place of having the answers we need, for whatever we face in this life. God’s Word enlightened to our hearts, through His Spirit, is a mighty enabler. As you grow deeper in the truth, you grow deeper in your relationship with God, and your ability to trust His wisdom to flood your soul and keep you in a place of peace and victory.
