Did you know you are not like anybody else on this earth? You are completely unique, significant, and set apart for a specific purpose by a God Who knew you before you were even born on this earth! The Bible says the moment you accepted Jesus into your heart, you became born of God. This immediately makes you an overcomer, and you learn to live like an overcomer as you discover what it is to be vitally connected to Jesus.
Jesus said loving Him is directly linked to obeying Him (John 14:15). And then He said, if we keep our relationship with Him our priority, we can ask anything of Him, and He will give it to us (John 15:16). What kind of God could ever be so good? We just can’t lose with giving our lives to Him. There is no downside to knowing Him, and nothing to compare with it.
When you see Him in His Word, your faith is built and you can’t resist falling in love with Him. Knowing the Person of Jesus is more than enough to satisfy us and keep our lives overflowing with peace and joy. But He wants to do life with us and show us how to hear His voice, follow His instructions, and trust Him to lead us to victory in everything we do. He made us people who have faith to overcome in this life – through knowing and loving Him!
