The lame man who encountered Jesus at the pool of Bethesda was instantly healed. There was no need for him to be put into the healing waters, Jesus Himself healed him. Do you understand that we don’t have to wait or depend on others to receive all Jesus died for us to obtain? Since the Spirit of Jesus, Himself lives on the inside of every born-again believer – we have a limitless supply of the power of God at our disposal!
The Hebrew word for “Bethesda” means “place of outpouring.” This is exactly what Jesus wants to do for us! He desires to pour Himself into us, so we can be made whole and full of His life-transforming love and power. When this becomes revelation truth to us – we can boldly go out and pour His love and power onto others. Living each day aware of God’s Presence within is essential, so we can recognise His voice and lead. As we yield to Him, His love and compassion for others becomes so overwhelming that we become an extension of His healing, delivering hands to those He leads us to.
Today, be ready and expectant for God to pour more of Himself into you as you spend time in His Word and Presence. His Presence within you will become undeniably recognisable for you to follow and obey – as you pour Him out to others.
