GOD is the beginning of all things! Everything good started from Him and is filled with Him sustained by His power. Look at how 1 Corinthians 8:6 confirms this truth, “Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through and by Whom are all things and through and by Whom we [ourselves exist].” Colossians 1:16 says the same, “For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.” There is no-one greater than God, no other Name higher or more excellent! It goes without saying that a God so mighty and powerful must be known by everything and everyone He has created! Romans 1:19 – 20 says that God has shown Himself to all men in their inner consciousness. It says that since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes have been made clearly evident in all He has created! So no one is excused from not knowing about Him. What is truly thrilling, is that He wants us to not just know about Him – He wants us to personally know Him! In John 17: 3, Jesus said to have eternal life is to personally know God. Open your heart to Him today as you spend time getting to know your GREAT God, and His WONDERFUL heart towards you!
