As the book of Revelation in the Bible is known as the main prophetic voice in the New Testament, the book of Daniel is that for the Old Testament. Many of Daniel’s dreams, visions and angelic visitations point to times and events after the cross of Jesus. With the acceleration of the devil’s evil agenda on the earth, the Bible says that in the last days, God’s Spirit will be poured out on all flesh, and the knowledge of His glory will fill the whole earth – through His people who know Him. (Joel Acts 2:17; Habakkuk 2:14). We are living in those days right now. There is great evil, just as in the days of Noah and Lot. There are wars, earthquakes, famines, and outbursts of strange plagues – the birth pains of an earth travailing. But there is also God’s mighty Presence in His people who know Him, the true church of Jesus Christ, which is the only restrainer of the unrestrained evil waiting to be released through the Antichrist (1 Thessalonians 2:7). Our mandate is clear and precise – we are to work the works of the Father, by His indwelling power, with great confidence and boldness until the moment He catches us away and the earth becomes consumed with the darkness of the devil’s evil reign. Remember today that you are a citizen of a greater Kingdom, not just a citizen, but a representative. The Kingdom of God is far higher than anything in this world, and with His power on the inside of you, you have the authority and dominion to stand boldly for Jesus and do exploits in His Name. You have been set apart by God to destroy all the works of the enemy and release the Gospel of Jesus Christ with great conviction and power! So determine to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit who is within you. Obey whatever He tells you to do with great boldness, standing your ground for righteousness and speaking His truth at all times. You have been chosen by God to live in these last days, and anointed to do great exploits for Him on this earth, so step out in His power and victory today!
