#FaithDaily Great Faith!
Matthew 8:10 (NKJV): “I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”
There were times Jesus rebuked people for their unbelief and times He marvelled at their “great faith”. The Roman centurion is an example of the latter. Although Jesus agreed to tend to the man’s sickly servant, the centurion decided it wouldn’t be necessary, knowing that just on His word the miracle would happen. This kind of faith was almost unheard of – a gentile acting upon the full measure of faith in the Messiah!
Great faith doesn’t have to see before it believes. It believes first because it fully understands and trusts in the authority and character of the One who makes the promise. If you need to see a particular breakthrough in your life, take a look at what Jesus has already said to you in His Word!
Then be like that centurion, since you have His word on it – just believe and your confidence in the authority and faithful character of Jesus will see that miracle become your reality!
