God always calls us to outgrow what we know, to become more of who we are in Him. A good step forward in this direction is to stop allowing our circumstances and past disappointing experiences to define or limit us. God’s grace upon the believer’s life is very powerful and intended to lift our perspective high above contrary situations and circumstances, so we can overcome and soar in life.
Even though we have an enemy who relentlessly seeks to steal, kill and destroy the good in our lives; we must be extra-vigilant to keep our focus on the authority we have in Jesus. This way we refuse the devil’s agenda and align ourselves with God’s will for us. We cannot afford to function without the grace of God.
Decide today to grow in that grace, that only comes through the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Increase your time spent with the Lord, and in His Word. This is where the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to us. To know Him more is to experience His presence and power that causes us to overcome and reign in this life. This is the result of His grace at work in us!
