Some translations of this text read, “Have the faith of God”, or “Have the God kind of faith”. The Bible records many instances where Jesus recognized either the abundance of faith, or the lack of faith in people. Each time He recognized substantial faith, the person would be healed or received whatever they were believing for. The God we serve is moved by compassion and always responds to our faith. He created faith to be the currency of His kingdom. Because of its nature, faith is a powerful commodity that always produces results, without fail! It is never uncertain or doubtful, and it never hesitates because it’s based on a confident knowing! A confidence strongly founded on the Word of God. When we unwaveringly believe what the word says concerning who God is, and who we are in Christ, we will have no difficulty believing for any of His promises concerning us. The book of Philemon says that our faith is made effective when we constantly acknowledge every good thing we have in Christ Jesus! The more we read and meditate on these truths, the more they become established inside of us and our faith becomes unshakable! That’s where the God kind of faith begins to operate and produce in our lives; where we know we will receive what we ask for in Jesus Name!
