Did you know you were never created to do anything independent of God? He loves us so much and wants to see us succeed in all things. It really brings pleasure to the heart of God when He sees His children do well in life. The Word says He literally delights to see us prosper. The best part is He intends to be present and involved in everything we do in order to make this happen!
Colossians 3:17 gives us three practical ways we can know He is with us every step of the way! Firstly, before we make a decision to do anything, no matter how noble or good it seems, we must do it in His Name. That means what we say or do must have His heart, carry His authority, and represent His character.
Secondly, when we do these things, we must be convinced we’re doing it in His strength and not our own. And thirdly, deliberately thank and praise the Lord for being intimately involved in it all! Today, with a heart completely yielded to the Word and Spirit of God, let the Person of Jesus live full in and through you. You’ll stand amazed at the outcome in every detail of every conversation and every action you take.
