There is so much power in the Word of God. Why? Because Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). John 1:1-5 tells us that “In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” God’s Word is the very expression of who He is; it reveals truth to us that is absolutely vital for our overcoming the world and walking in glorious victory in this life! As His children, to know, believe, and live by what is written in the word will bring us life, peace, and power! As we read His Word a few things become very evident to us; who our God is, who we are in Jesus Christ, what we can have in this life, and what is possible when we put our faith in Him! Isn’t it such a wonderful truth to know, that the Word of God is alive and powerful, ready to fill us with the richness and truth of Heaven. But it is up to us to pick it up, get its truth on the inside of us, meditate on it and allow it to become our reality. Remember, Jesus is the Word; He is our perfect example of the life we are able to live as His representatives. We really can live above the circumstances and things of this world because we are in covenant with the God of Heaven who desires to give us all that is written in His Word! Today, choose to fully step out and live a life in His Word.
