Let Faith Go to Work in You

Many men and women in the Bible had to make a choice to either push on in the things of God, or draw back and turn away from the instruction God had given them. They faced harsh persecution and difficult trials, but those who pressed on and had faith in God were supernaturally strengthened and energised to move forward in the work of the Lord. We need to be a people who are led and strengthened by the Holy Spirit who is alive and working on the inside of us. Philippians 2:13 says, “[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energising and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight in God.”. Faith in God causes us to experience the reality of what is written in His Word, as well as the power to live in all that He has called us to do and become. He has not left us alone, He has given us all we need! The more time we spend in His Word fellowshipping with His Holy Spirit, our faith increases and His supernatural work infuses us with vision, wisdom, peace and strength to go on. Hold tight onto God’s word today, recognising that the faith it will build in you, regardless of your natural situation, will do its work. It will protect you, fill you with God’s glory, and keep your head above the trouble, moving you forward in victory.
