Lock Eyes and Keep Moving Forward!

When Jesus called Peter to step out the boat and come to Him, Peter willingly obeyed. From his first step onto the water, he began defying the laws of nature! What an experience that must have been for him. Then, for a moment, he shifted his focus from Jesus to the wind and the waves around him. Just one glance caused fear to override his faith, and he began to sink!

Jesus calls us out of our impossible circumstances, just as He called Peter out of the boat to walk, by faith, on the water. Just like it was for Peter, our job is not to defy the laws of nature, making the impossible possible. The supernatural force of faith does that. Our job is to keep our focus on the One who calls us out! Remember, the wind didn’t even have to stop for Peter to keep walking towards Jesus; he just had to lock his eyes on the Lord and keep moving forward.

Faith is specific; it’s focused on the Word of God and pulls the unseen, naturally impossible things into our reality. Lock your eyes on Jesus, the Living Word, and keep moving into all He has called you to, even amongst the wind and waves. And let your faith make those impossible things possible.
