What can be more compelling than the truth of the Gospel? The reality of being snatched out of the devil’s grip and a life doomed to darkness, forever separated from knowing and experiencing God, is riveting in itself! Then, to know what we have been saved and redeemed into is even more outstanding!
We have been transplanted into the kingdom of light – adopted as children of God! We have received an inheritance incomparable to anything we could dream or imagine, and have been blessed with every spiritual blessing now. What’s more, we are given the privilege to intimately know our Father God through His Own Spirit indwelling us. His endless wisdom is freely given to us, and His unfailing love poured into us. We wear His power and authority over our enemy as a crown.
What is there to compare to this life we have been given in Christ Jesus? Paul warned the Hebrew Christians to never lose sight of what the finished work of the cross had gained them. The moment we do, the realization of who we truly are in Christ, and what has freely been given to us begins to fade and our joy, peace and victory with it. Make a determined effort to keep the glorious truth of the Gospel alive inside you – it will keep you living in the centre of God’s will and safe from drifting away from the victorious life that’s yours to enjoy.
