Following the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, the disciples were once again together – in one accord, in one place – and they were once again “all filled with the Holy Spirit”. What is noteworthy is when the Holy Spirit moved on them, need was alleviated from the body of Christ. The Bible reveals that no-one had any need, for the Lord had supernaturally supplied all, according to His unlimited riches in glory. The yoke of lack was broken by the anointing, and erased from the believers’ lives! The Bible not only reveals that the anointing destroys the yoke of bondage, but it also attracts wealth. This first-century Christian community were literally experiencing the manifestation of Jesus’ promise to give us abundant, overflowing life. Imagine a church that is marked by generosity and not need. Thank the Lord Jesus, that because of His anointing, you are blessed to be a blessing – and that He has met your need according to His riches in glory so you can meet the need of others today!
