Whenever the Lord gives an instruction that we willingly obey, we experience both growth and increase every time! There can be no substitute for obedience in our walk with God because it paves the way for us to handle the increase when it comes. The Word declares our diligent obedience to the ways of the Lord will not just cause our promotion, because He is able to trust us to follow His heart and voice; it’s an open door for His favour and blessing to flow in our lives too! (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
God’s Word is perfect and never fails. It’s as sure and steadfast as He is, and remains vital and essential through every season of our lives. Our circumstances may appear to completely contradict the promises of God, but if we remain steadfast in our faith, holding onto them without wavering – we will see those circumstances have no effect on the integrity of God’s Word.
Our diligence to obey all that is written in it will cause His truth to outrun and outlast everything that contradicts it! That’s because God has given an oath to keep His Word and honour everything He has promised in it. Nothing outshines the benefits of willingly obeying it!
