Have you been waiting on the Lord, wondering when you will see the supernatural release you’ve been praying for? If this is true of you, let’s consider the farmer for a moment. Since his very livelihood depends on it, a farmer has a deep appreciation for rain.
However, even when he sees rain clouds move overhead, he doesn’t halt all production and simply wait for the rain. Instead, he continues to work, knowing the moment those clouds are full of rain, they will empty themselves over his fields. When we are in the process of waiting for our breakthrough, like the farmer, we don’t remain passive, holding our breath for the moment. Instead, we keep working, faithfully pushing on in the things we know to do.
As we remain consistent in serving the Lord in our daily responsibilities – at home, in the church, or in the workplace – we make room for Him to open up doors of opportunity to promote us and release the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for. Remember, God, promises to reward the diligent. Remain faithful while you trust Him to release His blessing at the perfect time.
