The demands and pressures of life can be intimidating, rendering the strongest of people overwhelmed. The pressure is real. That’s why the Bible consistently urges us to know the Lord. To learn to lean entirely on Him and draw our inner strength and wisdom from Him. Acts 3:19 says when we turn to God, times of refreshing, and reviving, of recovering from the effects of heat, will come from being in His presence.
Deciding to spend quality time with the Lord is a priceless investment. This is where we receive the grace (supernatural empowerment) to endure and overcome every challenging circumstance that comes our way. Being reinforced with His power and strength will fill our minds with peace.
We are about to embark on a brand new year, which will present challenges that can become opportunities for victory, if we spend time in the presence of the Lord, and in His Word of truth. You’ll begin to see things from His perspective, and with great confidence declare that you are strong in the Lord and the power of His might to run your race this year with endurance!
