Prepare for Action

There’s no way around it: faith pleases God! But it’s important to understand that faith isn’t just “believing”. Faith requires a corresponding action to work, and it never works without being motivated by the love of God. If we are going to walk in the reality of God’s promises, we must be prepared to do what the Word says. If we believe for a financial breakthrough, the Word says to exercise our faith and apply the principle of sowing and reaping.

If we believe for physical healing: the Bible says to pray, believe we receive, and thank the Lord for our healing – always keeping our words positive and never contradicting His Word. While we do these things, we must be careful to let God’s love flow in and through our lives. We can’t believe for any of His promises while holding anything in our hearts and minds against others.

When we receive God’s Word with love and appreciation, it becomes the dominant force in our lives, directly influencing our actions. So keep your mind fixed on God’s Word and it will be prepared for victory! It’s difficult for the enemy to lead us into temptation, steal our peace, or quench our joy when God’s love abounds in our hearts and our thoughts are fixed on His truth!
