John the Baptist explained the relationship between Jesus and His Heavenly Father. There was nothing Jesus taught or did without representing the perfect will of His Father. He literally lived displaying His Father’s character, spoke His Father’s wisdom, and operated in His Father’s power. He was appointed and anointed by God to preach the Gospel, lay hands on the sick, heal the brokenhearted and bring deliverance to those oppressed by the devil.
Jesus spoke God’s Word unashamedly and operated in the Spirit immeasurably! Did you know that this is what we were called to live too? 1 John 4:17 literally tells us that as Jesus is, so are we in this world! We have a boundless supply of the power of God within us! We have His written Word and the promise that His Holy Spirit will give us all the wisdom we need, the moment we ask for it (James 1:5).
We have everything we need to carry our Heavenly Father’s Presence with us and represent Him well, everywhere we go! Trust the Word and the One who makes it alive within you. Obey His lead and you’ll begin operating in the Spirit without measure too!
