Take Possession

#FaithDaily Take Possession
Numbers 13:30 (NKJV): “Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, ‘Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.’”

Caleb and Joshua, two of the twelve spies sent to scout the Promised Land, had a different report to the others. They all confirmed the land of Canaan to be a magnificent country, just as the Lord had promised. However, ten of the twelve spies were more convinced of and influenced by what they physically saw during their mission, than what God had promised them about the land. As a result, they allowed what they saw to overwhelm them and they were gripped with fear.

Caleb and Joshua had to remind the people of God’s Word. He never said they wouldn’t have to fight to possess the land; however, He did say that He would give them the victory when they did. That’s why Caleb, full of faith said: “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it”!

Refuse to be intimidated by what you see and hear in the natural. If God has given you His Word to be with you and give you the victory, which He has, then confidently stand on His Word; get up and by faith take possession of what He has promised you. Healing is yours; peace is yours; wisdom is yours; favour is yours; prosperity is yours – in Christ Jesus!
