While some Christians veer away from wanting to know more about the ways of God, thinking they are too sacred or unobtainable for us to grasp – scripture invites us to search out His ways, because we were created to be like Him. For one thing, we know just as God is three distinct persons, each individual, yet inseparable – we are too. What is truly remarkable, is the way the three personalities of God work together. 1 Corinthians 12:5-7 says, “And there are differences of ‘administrations’, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the ‘manifestation’ of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” Here Paul reveals three distinct roles of the Godhead. While God, the Father, initiates His will, Jesus, the Son, administrates it; and the Holy Spirit causes the Father’s will to be manifest. A great example of how this extraordinary team works together is seen at creation. The original idea to create the world and all that is in it was found in the mind of the Father. The Father’s will was administrated, as Jesus spoke it out. We know this, because John 1 tells us that Jesus is the Word of God that existed with Him in the beginning. Hebrews 1:2 and 11:3 tell us how Jesus spoke the world into existence. As Jesus declared the will of His Father, the Holy Spirit’s power caused every spoken word to be manifest. Ephesians 3:9 tells us that God created all things through Jesus Christ. Understand today, because we are in Christ – God’s will, that is revealed in His Word, can become our reality. We were created in His image to be like Him and operate just the same. As we meditate on God’s Word, and believe it, the power to see it manifest, lives within our spirits – by His Holy Spirit. So, believe and speak out God’s promises, because His power to make each one your reality is present to do it.
