True Worship
If what we do for God amounts to our relationship with Him, we will burn out and become unfruitful. However, if the overflow of our fellowship with God results in good works – our lives will glorify Him greatly! Doing things in the Name of Jesus must come from this overflow of time spent being with Him. God desires us to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. This means our worship cannot resemble anything of the flesh. It must be pure, from our hearts – where His Own Spirit dominates and teaches us to worship Him – in thought, word, and deed.

That’s why true worship is coming to a place of ultimate trust and surrender. To worship God in Spirit in everyday life is to constantly remind ourselves of His goodness and faithfulness towards us, and to think about His promises concerning us. This builds strong confidence and trust in Him and makes aligning ourselves with His will a natural and easy way of life.

When we constantly keep the Lord in the forefront of our hearts and minds, it becomes easy to hear and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit, giving Him complete control. This is true worship.
