Walking with Jesus

How we live matters, how we represent Christ on this earth really counts. If we are born again and filled with the Spirit, we are called representative of the Most High God, and we will be held accountable for representing Him well. Which is why being intentional about the things of God, and pursuing Him, must be an absolute priority. Praise God! The indwelling Holy Spirit within us empowers us to refuse giving in to the ways of the world. Instead, we are expected to be transformed, by the power of His Word and Spirit! The Apostle Paul is a great example of a man of faith, who walked with Jesus. The revelation he had of Him is so evident in his writings and his letters to the Churches. When we walk with Jesus, in a close and intimate relationship, it will reflect in all we do and be evident to all those around us. Our heart for God will shine through to others. We have the choice to make, we can either live in Him, through our intentional relationship with God, or we can choose to live apart from Him, making our own choices and neglecting His Word. We were created to live and walk in fellowship with the Father, where He Personally helps us through His Word, and His wonderful gift of His Holy Spirit. Walking with Jesus and yielding to the leading of the Holy Spirit is a daily choice. A great way to check if we are doing this, is to consider if what we do in our day is leading us closer to Him or not. No one can pursue Jesus for us. It is our personal responsibility to seek Him, His will and His ways, so that the transforming power of His Spirit causes us to represent Him well in this life.
