Willing and Obedient
When God gave Joshua the instruction to walk around the walls of Jericho for seven days, it must have raised some eyebrows. Can you imagine what was going through the minds of those Israelite men?

They knew the mission was to breach the mighty walls of the city and conquer it. Silently marching around it for seven consecutive days was surely not what they envisioned when Joshua announced the plan. Yet, Joshua and his men chose to believe God and willingly obey Him. They acted on His instruction and as a result, those walls came tumbling down!

When we set out to do something we’ve committed to do, no matter how we feel about it in the natural, we must remember who we are ultimately working for. The Lord promises to reward our willingness to serve others with excellence and with the same attitude we would have if we were serving Him.
