Shut the Door
There are a number of examples in both the Old and New Testaments, of people having to shut the door, for the supernatural power of God to flow. Shutting the door symbolizes putting a stop to the flow of internal doubt and external negative influences. Shutting the door symbolizes closing our eyes to the natural, and allowing God to reveal the supernatural to us.

Do you remember the account of Jesus raising Jairus’ daughter from the dead? Jesus entered into her room and allowed only her father, mother and three of his disciples to go in with Him, before shutting the door on the wailing mourners. He deliberately closed the door to what would encourage doubt and negativity, and instead He cultivated an atmosphere of sincere love and faith.

Fill your home with worship, keep God’s Word of truth in your ears – cultivate an atmosphere of faith. Pray in the Holy Ghost to shut out fear and doubt, and expect to see the supernatural power of God at work.
