Jesus stated that in this world we will have trouble. That statement might leave you feeling hopeless…but wait, there is more! He never stopped there; Jesus went on to say “…be of good cheer because I have overcome this world”. The trials, betrayal, shock or sadness you may encounter here doesn’t have the power to overcome or destroy you.
Even if you aren’t shielded from facing deep waters, you will not drown. Even if you walk through fiery trials, you will not be burnt by the experience. Instead, if you choose to hold on tight to your faith in God and His irrefutable Word, you will emerge as a victor. God’s faithful character and His Word has the power to save your soul and keep you strong through any trouble.
Understand there is always an outcome and pathway set by God to bring you through stronger than before, with a testimony of His faithfulness towards you. He never brings sickness or disaster on people, but He always brings us through when we choose to cling to and lean on Him. Today, praise Him in advance for leading you through triumphantly as you place your full confidence in Him.
