Fix Your Focus
In this life, we can become easily distracted by the things around us. Every day we are presented with opportunities to grow weary and give up. The Apostle Paul often found himself beaten and in prison for the work of the Gospel. However, instead of giving in to the temptation to grumble and quit, he kept his mind focused on things that filled him with hope and inner strength.

Paul showed us how to resist natural distractions designed to bring us down, and to mediate on things that are positive and praiseworthy instead. Whatever you may be facing right now, choose to fix your focus on things that keep you looking up, not down. Stand on the truth of the Word knowing every challenge is an opportunity to see God’s faithfulness present itself, and His goodness and mercy to be placed on display.

As you give Him your cares, fill your thoughts with His excellent promises. They will keep your focus on what’s really true as you trust Him to move on your behalf.
