Stand Strong

Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den because he continued to pray to God and not to the king. Like Daniel, we must be prepared to be persecuted for the stand we take. Not everyone will understand our unreasonable commitment to God in this season. We prepare by remaining firmly rooted in the Word and by being fervent in prayer.

Our single-minded devotion to the Lord keeps us in His perfect will for our lives. And when we walk in His will, vitally connected to His power, He shows Himself strong in every situation – whether it be turmoil, or trial, or tribulation. Standing strong in the Lord and the power of His might may cost us popularity with people for the moment, but it will gain us so much more for eternity!

Let the love and grace of God live powerfully on the inside of you as you live for His pleasure alone. This is how we will see, first-hand, His kingdom, power and glory being manifest in the earth. The work of the devil will continue to be undone in people’s lives as we push on, stand strong, and be as bold as a lion!
