God’s Word is Truth. It’s not the opinions or philosophies of man, or a record of hypocritical religious beliefs. It is God’s Own thoughts, opinions and will. What’s more, it is alive with His power to transform whoever believes in Him and accepts His truth as their own. When we believe that God’s Word is the ultimate authority for our lives, and choose to walk in its ways through the power of the Holy Spirit – we will inherit every promise it contains! 2 Corinthians 1:20 says “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” The real evidence of our faith in God and His Word, is when we align the way we think, speak, and act with what the Word teaches. The result will be exactly what it promises us (Isaiah 55:11). If it declares peace, prosperity, healing, and life for those who believe it and do what it says – that’s exactly what it will produce. In a day and age where many voices compete for our attention and affection, let God’s Word be the truth we treasure most. It will set us apart to fulfil what we were born to do – invade this world with the atmosphere of heaven. God’s Word, alive in us, will cause us to become living sign-posts of His blessing on the lives of His own.
