As children of God, we are all called to be ambassadors of Christ! This may seen a little daunting, but thank the Lord, we are well able to live up to this call! How? Well, firstly by believing what the Word says we are! Romans 3:22 declares that we have been made the righteousness of God, through our faith in Christ Jesus. Towards the end of 1 Corinthians chapter 1, Paul explains how we cannot take any glory or credit for the position we now have in Christ Jesus. It is an astounding miracle that happened to us! The power of God literally re-created our spirits to be brand new – without even a trace of sin, or its consequence! Then the Holy Spirit came and took up residence in our re-created spirits! Now we have access to direct, un-broken fellowship with God. As we spend time acknowledging His Presence in us, and renewing our minds to the wisdom of His Word, we open our hearts to receive fresh surges of His life and power, causing us to fill up, flood, and overflow with Himself! It’s the life of Christ in us that enables us to live righteous, sanctified, redeemed lives – representing Him well, as His ambassadors here. So draw near to Him and let His power that is at work in you display His goodness and bring Him glory!
