The position we hold while on this earth matters! I am not talking about a title, or the position we may hold in a career, I am talking about our position as children of God! The Bible says Jesus is seated far above all things, and that He has given us this same position while we are living on earth! Since we represent our God and His Kingdom, the position we choose to stand in will determine what we experience in life. We can choose victory over defeat. We can choose health over sickness. We can choose prosperity over poverty. Since Jesus already paid the price on the cross for all of these things, our responsibility is to step into His fullness and walk it out on earth! Just as it happened in 1 Kings 18, all those who worshiped false gods witnessed first hand the sovereignty of God. The same God that Elijah served is the God we serve today – He has not changed. Just as those who did not believe in Him fell to the ground and acknowledged, “The Lord is God!”; as we stand our ground in faith and take up the position of authority we have been given over the devil, people all around will notice that God is alive! We are His representatives here on earth, bringing all glory and honour to His name through the life we live. Today, choose to position yourself in Him and you will always live above and walk out the evidence of His promises!
