Here’s a thought provoking statement: “If you are walking with 5 fools there will soon be 6 fools! ” There is power in association. Who you associate yourself with is vital for the effective fulfilment of your destiny. The reality is that there are people to walk with and people to walk away from. The above scripture demonstrates the power of association. A paralytic had 4 friends who ripped a roof open and lowered him before Jesus. What’s powerful about this story is that the faith that got the paralytic man healed was not his own, but the faith of his friends! The Bible records, “seeing THEIR faith…”. A man was healed because of the faith found in the people he associated himself with! The people you associate with will either be a blessing or a curse. They will either build you up or break you down. Today, be very intentional about who you choose to associate with. There are people to walk with and then there are people to walk away from.
