There’s nothing we can’t praise our way out of! If you ever find yourself surrounded by trouble, understand God has paved a way out for you. You can deliberately choose to turn away from the temptation to complain or faint in fear, and walk right out of where you are, by rejoicing! That’s right! You have God’s Word on it! Don’t give in to the temptation of making the wrong choice in the face of trouble – God has made an exit road for you! Look at what 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.” That exit road has a name and it’s called REJOICE! Remember, God doesn’t test us with trouble – He is the One who provides the way of escape! Our decision to either surrender to His way or choose our own, reveals our faith. That’s because it takes trust to yield to Him instead of giving into fear. James says it’s our faith that is tested in the face of trials. So, when you are faced with trouble, take a moment to quiet yourself and ask the Lord for His wisdom concerning the things you are facing. Then, once you have His Word on it, and you confess it out aloud in faith, remember to rejoice! Why? Because God is faithful, and He always watches over His Word to perform it. Once you have His wisdom on a matter and you come into agreement with it, and adjust your thoughts, conversations, prayers, and actions to align with it – you have done all that’s required. Now it’s up to the Word to go to work! The only hinderance to that work being done is your own faltering of faith. A heart that chooses to rejoice in the Lord and His faithfulness repels any and all forms of unbelief! It’s impossible to be anxious or overcome with fear when we are deliberately rejoicing in the Lord. When we do this, we tell the devil and God that we have put our complete trust in the Lord and have come under His authority and protection. The devil has no comeback to this kind of joyful faith, and God’s Word will not be hindered to produce the very promise we are believing to see become our reality! So, choose to rejoice and see yourself walk right out of trouble and into overwhelming victory today!
