Learning to be led by the Holy Spirit is crucial for every Believer wanting to live a victorious life. Praise God, He has promised that we will always have Him as a comforter, counsellor, teacher, and helper. Since the Holy Spirit lives in us, we never have worry about not being able to locate Him for the answers we need, because His address is our spirits! All we need to do is turn our attention towards Him and invite Him to reveal His wisdom to us. A great way for this to happen is by spending time in the Word of God and in prayer. This way we become more skilled to recognize His voice inside us. We know Him by fellowshipping with Him. As we become more acquainted with His ways, we understand what moves Him, what pleases and displeases Him – and we are more sensitive to this in our daily dealings and conversations. When we pray in the Holy Spirit, it’s important to quieten our minds by engaging them in what our spirits are praying. The Holy Spirit takes what is in the mind of God and imparts it to our spirits. As we pray in tongues, with our minds engaged, He brings the specific wisdom we need, from our spirits to our minds. The answers we are looking for are found in the realm of the spirit, and as we learn to commune with the Holy Spirit this way, we will have heaven’s wisdom to walk in victory – at all times!
