Romans 2:29 (NLT),

Living for God has everything to do with our hearts being touched and changed by His Holy Spirit. When Jesus touches our lives, through His Spirit, it’s a transforming work that begins deep inside the core of who we are. There is nothing superficial about God’s handiwork in our lives. It’s deliberate, true, and intentional. The Holy Spirit causes our [own] carnal nature to be completely removed and replaced by His goodness and love. He removes every trace of our insufficiency and inability to intimately know God and feel what it is to be known by Him. Our hearts are grafted into God’s, making His desires our own. His Spirit and our spirit become one, intricately united and inseparably connected. That’s why someone who truly knows and loves the Lord, will delight in doing His will and is more concerned with pleasing God’s heart than being popular with others. Ask the Lord to search your heart today, and remove any part that is not pleasing to Him. A change of heart can be exactly what you need to reign in life with Him.
Romans 2:29 (NLT), "... true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people."
