If we are going to get to know the Holy Spirit, it’s necessary to shut the door on those thoughts filled with the noise and clutter of the world. Praying from the perspective of our circumstances will never bring victory and breakthrough. We must be in the atmosphere of Heaven…where our faith is great, and our joy and peace is full. So when you approach the throne room of grace, come willing to surrender every thought and word to the will of the Holy Spirit. Lift the Name of the Lord up high. Thank and praise Him for Who He is and His promises concerning you. Be careful to listen for His heart while you enter His Presence, and follow His lead as you pray. This way your prayers will be powerful and effective as you declare His perfect will into every situation you bring before Him. Let the words flowing from your spirit be far greater than those of your carnal nature. The results will be worlds apart.
