You – Taste and See

The Bible reveals that David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord. In other words, he was not interested in religion, but a relationship in the living God. He didn’t keep running to the man of God for encouragement and strength for the day, he ran to the God of all men.

David was a man after God’s own heart. Although he sinned and made many mistakes, he was repentant and continuously poured out his heart to the Lord. While we thank the Lord for our pastors – the shepherds who faithfully feed the sheep – we must understand our responsibility to grow up and mature in the ways of God. We all run the race called life and shall be held accountable for remaining faithful, with endurance, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus – the author and finisher of our faith.

Today, immerse yourself in His Word; saturate your soul in His presence. Taste and see that He is good – to you!
