What will set this year apart from any other? I believe it’s the degree to which we believe and apply the Word of God to our lives. Jesus told us in John 8 that it’s not enough to just believe, we are to continue in His Word. Many times, we believe that God can do the supernatural and that we will experience His goodness; but as soon as we hit a snag, we doubt.
We make comments like, “maybe next year we will see God’s promises and provision.” Truth be told, victory is already guaranteed; but walking in it, is up to us. To which degree do you believe what God says about you; and to which degree are you willing to apply His Word and pursue His covenant promises? Allow this year to be one where God’s Word was the measuring stick to everything you accomplished.
Determine that Christ will be magnified in and through you when you choose faith – every single day! Not only will you be pleasing to the Father, you’ll inspire those around you to choose faith too, and enjoy a life worth living!
