Delivered Promises

The same God who promised Israel’s freedom from captivity – delivered on His promise. We serve a God who is true to His Word, despite what sceptical on-lookers may report, or temporary circumstances may indicate. Scripture has many records of people who declared promises the Lord had placed on their hearts to speak, even when those promises seemed foolish. Without fail every promise came to pass: Noah and the flood (Genesis 6-9); the Prophet Elijah and the rain (1 Kings 18); John the Baptist and the coming Messiah (Matthew 3). All were logically invalid – until they happened. Whatever the Lord has spoken to you (that is in line with the spirit of His written word) concerning who He is, who you are in Him, and what He will do in and through you – believe it, profess it and expect to see it come to pass. God will always watch over His Word to see it accomplish exactly what He sent it to do (Isaiah 55:11). Praise God! He delivers on every promise He makes.
