When the Word speaks of all things being under Jesus, it’s speaking of all power, all principalities and all authority. The scripture goes on to say that God gave Jesus to be the head over all things to the church. We are living as His body – an extension of Himself – here on earth.
The book of Galatians paints a picture of a life submitted to Jesus. It speaks of living to please God instead of ourselves, where our lives are guided by His love for others. This could mean taking the time to intercede for someone in need; or to show kindness by meeting their needs however the Lord leads us. The powerful truth is living submitted to Christ means we are His body, and if all things are under His head then all things must be under His body too.
So, if the enemy is under Jesus – we can be sure he is under us, His body, too! Glory to God! Today, know you have been authorised and empowered to walk controlled by the Spirit of God having authority over all resistance from the devil! He can’t stop God’s conquering love from flowing in and through you as you represent Jesus today!
