Be Intentional

Today we want to remind you of the victory you have in Christ Jesus. While it’s easy to become overwhelmed by what’s happening in the world around us, we must continually remind ourselves of these fundamental truths: the Word says we are seated in heavenly places with Christ, and that He always leads us in triumph.

Understand the enemy is relentless in his attempt to distract us from what is already ours, so we must be deliberate in holding firm to what God’s Word has promised us. The Bible tells us the violent take it by force; that’s why we enforce the reality of the Word of God in our lives. We do this by faith that requires a corresponding action. The book of James teaches us that faith without that action is dead.

So when you’re believing for the promises of God, confess what His Word says and refuse to speak contrary to it. If the promise has a condition attached to it, make sure you act on it. Then fill your heart, mind and words with thanksgiving and praise – as though that promise has already been manifest. Deliberately walk in love towards others because faith works by love! This is how we intentionally walk in the victory of God, one promise at a time.
